A reimagined space
Chloè from Wood Marble and White inherited this project as the the client felt the original specs didn’t suit the home’s overall character. Seeking a fresh approach, she envisioned a redesign that would embrace her love for connectivity to the outdoors, incorporate organic forms like curves, and embody a serene yet sophisticated style.
With full creative freedom, Chloè reimagined the space, revamping the layout to elevate both functionality and visual appeal.
The kitchen became the focal point of the redesign, with playful colours and eye-catching details. Curvature was woven throughout the space, from a unique curved splashback to the spectacular curved stone countertops. The Taj Mahal quartzite adds a touch of luxury to this space, with its soft, creamy color palette beautifully complementing the vibrant accents throughout the kitchen.
Archways were introduced to guide movement, adding a dynamic and whimsical element. The bar area received special attention, featuring a zip tap and beverage center for convenience. With black timber grain joinery, a matching benchtop, and a stone-shelf splashback with a mirrored backdrop, the bar exudes a luxurious and seamlessly integrated look.
A central component of this transformation was the seamless integration of a bar into the open-plan kitchen, designed to service the living, dining, and alfresco areas. This thoughtful change fosters a welcoming, fluid environment, ideal for both entertaining and everyday living.
Chloè’s thoughtful redesign successfully transformed the space into a harmonious blend of style and function, reflecting the client’s vision for a home that feels connected to nature while exuding sophistication. By embracing organic shapes, luxurious materials like Taj Mahal quartzite, and a layout that flows seamlessly across living areas, she created an inviting environment perfect for both daily life and entertaining. The project is a testament to how a carefully crafted design can elevate a home, bringing warmth, elegance, and a personal touch to every corner.
